After the latest filing deadline this week, the financial disclosures from candidates for Senate and Assembly districts offer a number of contrasts as they head to the primary in August and general election in November.

Campaigns for seats in the Wisconsin Legislature faced their first financial disclosure deadline of the year this week, and several candidates in Tosa districts reported significant revenue.

In the most prominent state Senate race on Tosa voters' ballots, the two candidates for Senate District 5 each reported six-figure total contributions for the first six months of 2026 and plenty of cash on hand as they look to the Nov. 3 election.
