Could Amtrak trains stop in Wauwatosa? Council to discuss endorsing idea

This push for Amtrak service in Tosa comes as the passenger rail already is considering whether to add stops in Wisconsin along the rail corridor that runs through the city.

Wauwatosa is no stranger to Amtrak trains. They pass through Tosa Village four times a day, twice heading east and twice more heading west.

But they don't stop here.

That could change, if a vision for the future of rail travel through Wisconsin aligns with a proposed resolution under review by the Wauwatosa Common Council.
