The Wauwatosa Common Council was always going to start its term with a few new faces, and now we know which new faces will be joining the municipal governing body.

Unofficial results reported to the Milwaukee County Clerk show that newcomers Amanda Saso in District 4 and Michael Indy Stluka in District 8 defeated their opponents, and Melissa Dolan, an incumbent council member running in District 11, defeated fellow incumbent Mike Morgan.

Those were the only three actively contested races for the 12 council seats. Incumbent Ernie Franzen in District 3 technically also faced a challenger, Mark Peters, whose name was still on the ballot despite declaring he had withdrawn from the race. Franzen won easily.
