It's been a relatively quiet week, though summer planning continues to heat up in Wauwatosa.
TOSA Pool at Hoyt Park opened for the season last weekend. Tosa Farmer's Market kicks off this Saturday with a "sneak peek" session. (The official start is June 6.)
Hartfest is June 12 and 13 at Hart Park. That's also the same weekend as Greek Fest at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church at 2160 Wauwatosa Ave.
This also is the season for neighborhood rummage sales, starting this weekend in the Washington Highlands neighborhood.
Tosa families looking for summer programming for their elementary-age children have a new school-based option. The school district announced this week that it had chosen Blue Door Academy, affiliated with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, as its new after-school care provider, a replacement for Right at School, which is ending effective June 11.

If you've been waiting for Bobby Tanzilo's latest Old Tosa Home profile, wait no longer: He took a closer look at this $800,000 home in the Wellauer Heights neighborhood for OnMilwaukee.
The City of Wauwatosa is hoping to move forward with plans for an upgrade of the Wauwatosa Public Library and City Hall complex with a vote in late July. Before then, it is inviting the public's input. What do you think of the proposals?
WISN-TV obtained police body-cam footage of the arrest of the alleged City Hall mail thief. That case still has an aire of mystery to it, as we reported in April.
And on Wednesday, 45 students of Tosa East and Tosa West high schools were honored at the school district's sixth annual Industry Signing Day. A selection of photos and the full list of students can be found here.
