Introducing a new way of getting Tosa news, including from your neighbors

Community is essential to the mission of Tosa Forward News, and that's why we are excited to launch a new printed publication, the Community Edition, focused on good news going on in Wauwatosa.

What is the Community Edition?

Anchored by reported Neighbors stories, the goal is to produce and distribute this limited-run newspaper monthly to paying subscribers and through single-copy sales. Central to this project is the Neighbor Pages, a centerpiece spread featuring community-submitted news about you and your neighbors, as shared by all of us.

Is your school group or team celebrating some big achievement? Has your community organization reached a significant new milestone? Do you have a photo of your neighborhood softball team hosting its latest trophy? Did your church succeed in a major new outreach project? Maybe your recent high school reunion is worth highlighting.

Submit news for the Neighbor Pages

Tosa Forward News is now accepting submissions for inclusion in future Neighbor Pages. Here's the first edition, to give you a sense for what to expect.

Visit tosanews.com/community to submit info and photos for consideration. Submissions should be of interest to the wider community and not merely promoting a business.

Neighbor Pages publication fee is $15 for text and one photo, with the option to upgrade to multiple photos. Each accepted submission entitles you to up to five complementary copies. Email questions to editor@tosanews.com.

How to get a copy of the Community Edition

All Tosa residents, whether submitting news or not, are encouraged to sign up to receive a copy. Single copies are available for purchase for $4 at this website's new eShop, where you can also subscribe for the year at $25.

And if you are a Tosa Forward News member at the $100 Supporter level, an annual Community Edition subscription is already included in your membership. Just email us with your delivery address or fill out the member perks form here.

We also aim to get copies for sale in at least a couple local stores. Stay tuned for updates!

Tosa Forward News will always be a news website first. Print, though not dead, is no longer at the center of the modern media landscape. That said, if some residents find a local print publication useful and enjoyable, we want to make it available through this new Community Edition. Let us know your thoughts, Tosa!
