Wauwatosa launches refreshed city website featuring new design, branding, logo, url
A logo featuring the City of Wauwatosa's new design elements has been incorporated into a newly redesigned city website. The old Tosa shield logo can still be seen on the sign in front of the Civic Center building at North and Wauwatosa avenues in a Tosa Forward News photo.

It's a brand new City of Wauwatosa — online, that is.

The city government's website got a major relaunch last week, with a fresh new design, streamlined navigation, a new url and branding that incorporates the city's new digital-friendly "design element," a modern logo that residents likely will see a lot more in the coming weeks and months.

"Hello, Wauwatosa," the website's homepage now says in big bold letters. "How can we help you today?"

That homepage is now wauwatosa.gov, replacing the city's former wauwatosa.net url. (The old url still works but redirects to the new one.)

In the debate among Common Council members earlier this year over some of these design changes, city officials assured fans of the old Tosa shield logo that it would not be disappearing, though it is nearly impossible to find on the new website.
