Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and there are several races on Tosans' ballots for state offices, including governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state and state treasurer.
In the races for state Legislature, the candidates on your ballot depend on where you live in Wauwatosa. Most Tosa voters will be electing a new state senator and state representative, but not all Tosans.

The following are snapshots of the three state Senate districts and four state Assembly districts that include most or parts of Wauwatosa.

Senate District 5
Boundaries: Most of Wauwatosa is located in this district, which also includes much of West Allis, a sliver of Milwaukee, part of Waukesha and all of Elm Grove, Brookfield and Pewaukee. See map here.
Incumbent: The district has been represented since 2023 by Sen. Rob Hutton, a Republican, who is not running for re-election this year.
Challengers: Rep. Robyn Vining, a Democrat from Tosa who currently represents District 13 in the Assembly, is running against Mike Roberts, a newcomer running as a Republican.
Assembly District 13
Boundaries: Most of Wauwatosa is located in this district, which also includes all of Elm Grove and much of Brookfield. See map here.
Incumbent: The district has been represented by Rep. Robyn Vining, a Democrat, since 2025. She previously represented District 14 under an earlier district map. She is not running for re-election to the Assembly because she is a candidate for Senate.
Challengers: On the Democratic side, Amy Zimmerman. won the party's August primary. The Republican candidate, Mike Morgan, is a former Wauwatosa Common Council member.

Assembly District 14

Incumbent: The district has been represented by Rep. Angelito Tenorio, a Democrat, since 2025. He is running for re-election.
Challenger: Running for Tenorio's office on the Republican side is AmyRose Murphy.

Senate District 4 (not up for election)

Incumbent: District 4 has been represented by Sen. Dora Drake, a Democrat, since 2024. Because she is in the middle of her current term, her seat is not up for election this year.
Assembly District 12 (uncontested)
Boundaries: Like Senate District 4, this assembly district includes the far north Tosa neighborhood of Tosa Heights and the apartments at Luther Manor.
Incumbent: District 4 has been represented by Rep. Russell Goodwin Sr. since 2025. He is running for re-election unopposed, after defeating Democratic challeger Jordan Roman in the primary.

Senate District 6 (not up for election)
Boundaries: This district mostly spans neighborhoods in central Milwaukee, though it also includes the southeast corner of Wauwatosa, including the neighborhoods from Tosa Village south to Ravenswood. See map here.
Incumbent: Sen. LaTonya Johnson, a Democrat, has represented District 6 since 2017. She was elected to her current four-year term in 2024, so her seat is not up for election this year.
Assembly District 18
Boundaries: This district starts with the neighborhoods in southeast Tosa and extends east and northeast into Milwaukee. See map here.
Incumbent: Rep. Margaret Arney, a Democrat and former Wauwatosa Common Council member, has represented District 18 since 2025. She is running for re-election.
